OPSIDOR Back to the guide

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 November 2026

This page explains what personal data opsidor.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short because we collect very little.

Who is responsible

The data controller for this website is Zero Opti LTD, Bulgaria, which operates opsidor.com. The handbook "Optics: from light to the lens" is published under the name OPSIDOR. You can contact us at info@opsidor.com.

What the site collects, and why

The site does not use advertising trackers or analytics, and it does not set cookies of its own. The fonts are served from this site, so your browser does not contact Google or any other font service.

Purchases

The guide is not sold on this site. It is sold through a third-party sales platform, which handles the order, the payment and the delivery. Your payment details are entered on the platform and are processed by it, not by us. The platform acts as a controller for that data, and its own privacy policy applies. We may receive limited order information from the platform, such as your name, email address and order details, to deliver the guide and answer questions about your order. Legal basis: performance of the contract, and legal obligations for accounting records.

Services that process data for us

Some of these providers are based in the United States, and Web3Forms operates from India. Where your data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, this relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on Standard Contractual Clauses, depending on the provider.

How long we keep data

We keep messages for up to 12 months after the conversation ends, and delete them afterwards, including the copy held by the form service. If we do not delete a copy earlier, the form service removes it automatically after at most three years. Records of purchases are kept for as long as accounting and tax rules require.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or give it to you in a portable format. You can also object to how we use it or ask us to limit it. To do any of this, write to info@opsidor.com. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In Bulgaria this is the Commission for Personal Data Protection (cpdp.bg); you may also contact the authority in your own country.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
